What do you get when you mix fine art, still life photography with cutting edge print and fashion design?
New York based photographer Dominik Tarabanski takes us on an intriguing journey with his new series. SVRFACE is a visual dialogue between the body, the fabric, space and the object. It’s a series of meanings and associations encoded as deep as in the pattern that covers the fabric. Elements that appear in the pictures complement one another on many levels. It is the search for a new form of expression within fashion that begins underneath the aforementioned surface.
To create the concept and custom objects and prints featured on the clothing Tarabanski collaborated with designer Mateusz Paja. A true match made in heaven if you ask us.
